Asana is really disappointing to me. Anything over 15 users and they charge non-profits the same as for-profit businesses. That’s just unethical. The cost to them, as a SAAS provider, is negligible, but the cost to a non-profit is enormous (we’re talking $2,500 per year for 30 users). Shouldn’t they be supporting good causes? Shame!

Consider 5pm (www.5pmweb.com). While not free, it is solid and it offers discounts to non-profits . It is available in 25 languages (helpful for international organizations) and has a nice set of features.

If you use a multi-step workflow, consider smartQ (www.getsmartQ.com). It also offers discount to non-profits.
